Agustina Bazterrica is an Argentine writer born in Buenos Aires in 1974. She studied art at the University of Buenos Aires and has worked in cultural administration and as a literary-prize juror. She writes essays and fiction. Her novel Tender Is the Flesh won the Clarín Novel Prize and has reached readers through translations in many languages.
