Desecration's Song: Ghost Flower Verse 3

Be not afraid.

The forest has grown quiet. Rook Lake is abandoned. But Elodie Morne, holding her omnipotent parent's wrath at bay, is not as alone as she believes. When a mysterious young woman with a dark past and a darker secret infiltrates her sanctuary, Elodie discovers that her parent's influence extended past the sleepy town she grew up in. But who is this woman who somehow knows so much about what happened in Rook Lake, and what led her to reveal herself now, a year after Cennend's defeat?

Hundreds of miles away in Seattle, Sera awakens. With the memories of six lives not her own flooding her mind, she finds herself in a new and unfamiliar world with only Cora Emerson, the calculating right-hand of billionaire Russell Hausman, to guide her. Drawn into a sinister conspiracy led by Cennend's remaining followers, Sera begins to question what little she knows about herself. Is she, as Cora says she is, a third scion of the Outer Darkness? What secrets are being drowned out by the choir of voices that share her mind? And will she be able to do as her caretakers ask of her, and finally remove Elodie Morne as a threat to their master's reign?

With all reality hanging in the balance, Elodie once again finds herself the last line of defense between the world she loves and the oblivion Cennend craves, and all that is certain is that, one way or another, nothing will ever be the same again.

Come and see.
