Escaping the Plague

She was just trying to get through the week… but then the world ended.

Peri Hollis spent her whole life perfecting the art of disappearing when things got hard. She worked a dead-end job, stayed stuck in a marriage she should have left years ago, and showed up every day for a sick mother who never quite learned how to love her back. Surviving was enough until a routine stop for gas on a bitter Wisconsin December day changed everything.

By the time the hazmat suits arrived and the emergency alerts started stacking up on her phone, Peri found herself sheltering at her Mom’s crumbling little house. She was stuck with a dying woman who refused to be afraid and a sister who showed up wearing bruises.

The virus was spreading fast, turning ordinary people into something terrifying. The snow was piling up, and the world outside was fracturing faster than anyone on the news was willing to admit.

Three women who never quite figured out how to be a family are now all each other has. No supplies, no weapons, no plan, and nowhere to go. Now, when everything outside the door wants in, and people are counting on her, whether they’d ever say so or not, how long can she keep running when there is nowhere left to go?

—— From the Amazon bestselling author of Ravaged Land comes a gritty, page-turning survival story of courage, determination, and resilience in the face of a zombie apocalypse. As the world falls apart, Peri fights to survive with her instincts and resourcefulness tested at every turn.
