Paula

On a rain-lashed night in London, two figures arrive at a grand old house where something has gone terribly wrong.

Walter Sidney is one of the world’s leading experts in demonic possession, and he’s been summoned to deal with a particularly brutal case. His daughter Paula has come with him as his assistant, just as she always does. But Walter has one strict rule: Paula must stay downstairs, far from the exorcism itself, ready with whatever equipment he might need.

At first, all she can do is wait.

Then the night begins to unravel.

Time slips away. Blood appears where it shouldn’t. Strange injuries mark Paula’s body, though she has no memory of how they got there. As her father struggles upstairs with the possessed young woman, Paula starts to realise that this exorcism is unlike anything they’ve encountered before.

Paula is a horror novella about a brutal possession, a father and daughter trapped in a demonic game, and an ancient force determined to claw its way into our world.
